Key Elements in Selling

September 3, 2010 - Updated: September 3, 2010

When selling something as grandiose as a property, a worked over commercial site or your reliable automobile, it’s always the appreciation growing over the years that maintains interest in safe harbouring that investment.

The key element to sustaining an investment is having the right material subjects working on that investment.  An agent, a stager and a landscaper are three very important elements for a considerable return.

An agent, one that broker’s the deal emphasizing a clients need, a stager, one that can make the subject look to its fullest potential for any onlooker, usually onlookers have witnessed comparable subjects, be sure to have cutting edge stagers. And finally a landscaper, someone that can groom a subject to where it turns people’s heads, I like using a car as an example. A car needs to have that final scratch in the paint cleaned, buffed, maybe pulled out if there's a dent, colour matched, painted and properly cured all before somebody can look at your classic automobile.  If your house is being sold, landscapers will be sure to cut the grass and destroy weeds and give small hints to substantially increase curb appeal.  Nobody wants to do more work after they move in.

If there’s one move that you can make, it’s finding one person to take on as many of these ‘investment return’ projects as possible.   Please call me for options in getting a well deserved return on your investment.
